Yep, that's right! We have two new partners which equals two new stops on the Look Out Loud Project Tour. And we are beyond stoked!
The first is the Stairway Foundation, an organization in the Philippines that is a residential center for street children and an activist for child rights, especially in the realm of child sexual abuse and trafficking prevention! Meagan has spent two full summers working there in the community and Maggie is so excited to join her there this time as we set up a sustainable Photovoice project in such an incredible environment.
The second is Los Patojos, an alternative education program center and safe house for youth in Jocotenango, Guatemala. They provide school scholarships, tutoring, cultural programs, a community kitchen, and a medical clinic, and arts programs. Meagan visited this organization this past fall, and was blown away by the vision of director Juan Pablo Romero Fuentes. We are so excited to partner with them, as they have a great foundation for a successful and sustainable Photovoice project!
We're also finding that a lot of teachers here in the US want to get in on this global conversation with their kids! So we're partnering with classrooms here who will get to share and learn from the Look Out Loud Project across the globe! This is getting big, people!
Thanks again for being awesome share-ers!
We only have 21 days left on our Kickstarter campaign so please help us get to 100% funded!
